If the latest season of Bridgerton is anything to go by, Netflix fans still seemed to be entranced by the period drama’s raciest scenes.

Following the release of season 4 part 1, fans were left holding their breath over the display of burning romance unfolding before them.

This became even more intense when eagle-eyed observers discovered that the audio description setting can describe a vivid description of every touch in graphic detail.

But now, ahead of part 2 dropping on the streaming platform on February 26, a new trailer appears to be teasing Sophie (Yerin Ha) and Benedict’s (Luke Thompson) long-awaited steamy moment in a bathtub from Julia Quinn’s novel.

Posting the new teaser, Bridgerton‘s official Netflix account released the teaser on X with the caption: ‘It has been said, the most anticipated moments are often times worth the wait.’

Metro's take on Bridgerton season 4

TV Editor Sabrina Barr shares her review…

While the tale being woven in season four might feel familiar, it sets a very different tone for the world of Bridgerton.

This is the deepest the series has ever delved into the upstairs-downstairs dynamics of the Ton, and it’s about time.

Bridgerton knows how to give the fans what they want, while also keeping us on our toes.

The plot might not be groundbreaking, but this is escapism at its finest. It’s had us on the edge of our seats and clutching our pearls for six years, long may the obsession continue.

The new trailer depicts Sophie and Benedict staring at each other across a steaming bath by the fire before they exchange kisses.

The bathtub scene occurs in the latter half of Quinn’s novel, An Offer to a Gentleman.

Without giving away any spoilers, it’s one of the most important scenes in the book and will likely be the one major sex scene of the season.

While anticipation for the part 2 of season 4 four is high, many fans are frustrated at the long delay between the last four episodes being released.

Also writing on Reddit, @iamhappy-iamcat1 said: ‘Honestly producers should give themselves a raise for creating season 4 to be such a masterpiece but splitting in two halves ain’t it. I CANNOT WAIT anymore I need to watch it now.’

Bridgerton season 4 part 1 is available to stream on Netflix.
