Knicks center Mitchell Robinson is listed as questionable to play in Wednesday night's Game 1 NBA Finals matchup, but all indications point toward him being able to play against the San Antonio Spurs.

Robinson suffered a broken fifth metacarpal in his right hand sometime last week. The injury reportedly occurred away from the basketball court, and he underwent surgery to repair the issue last Friday.

Robinson participated in the open media portion of Tuesday's practice and took part in the Knicks' pregame walkthrough on Wednesday. According to New York insider Ian Begley of SNY, "something unforeseen" would have to take place in order for Robinson not to play in Game 1.

"Center Mitchell Robinson looked solid in yesterday’s practice with the Knicks and he was with the team during its walk-thru earlier today, per SNY sources, so he remains on track to play in Game 1 of the NBA Finals tonight," Begley reported a few hours before tipoff on Wednesday.

"Only something unforeseen would prevent Robinson from playing at this point. He is officially listed as questionable for Game 1 with a broken right metacarpal," he continued. "ESPN reported earlier Wednesday morning that Robinson was expected to be available for Game 1."
