Summer is here, and it may seem like the NFL season is a long way off, but in just a few months, the preseason will start, so it's crunch time in the league. The Arizona Cardinals are trying to bounce back after a 3-14 season, and one way they're doing that is by making major roster changes.

So, should the Cardinals make any blockbuster trades before September? One NFL analyst thinks it's the right thing to do.

Moe Moton of Bleacher Report has released a feature where he names one blockbuster trade each franchise should make before the 2026 season starts. For the Cardinals, he likes the idea of the team trading edge rusher Josh Sweat.

"Coming off a 3-14 season, the Arizona Cardinals are in rebuild mode after hiring a new coaching staff and releasing quarterback Kyler Murray," he notes, adding that "general manager Monti Ossenfort should look to trade roster assets like Josh Sweat for premium 2027 draft capital. By the way, analysts believe next year's crop of rookies could be one of the best classes in recent memory."
