Watch Brazil vs Egypt live streams as both sides play their final friendly before the 2026 World Cup. Brazil enter the game on the back of a thumping 6-2 victory over Panama, while Egypt earned a 1-0 win against Russia.
Despite winning just eight of 18 games in qualifying and finishing fifth in the table, there is a growing belief among supporters that Brazil can challenge for a sixth World Cup crown. Much of that is due to the appointment of Carlo Ancelotti who has won six of his 11 games in charge. It may not be the most impressive return, but there are significant signs of improvement under the Italian.
They beat Croatia 3-1 in April and then hit Panama for six last week, with Igor Thiago, Rayan, and Lucas Paquetá all scoring and impressing after coming off the bench. Against Mexico, it is likely that several players who started that match on the sidelines will be given another opportunity to impress.
Egypt, meanwhile, will be determined to gain a morale-boosting win over the South American giants. Hossam Hassan has some exciting attacking talent at his disposal in Mo Salah and Omar Marmoush, while 18-year-old Hamza Abdelkarim may be handed a chance to impress after being a surprise inclusion in his country’s final 26-man World Cup squad.
