His new studio album, "The Boys of Dungeon Lane," has debuted at the top of the U.K. Official Chart, proving that the Beatles legend is still as popular as ever.
No matter how many times he goes No. 1, it just doesn't get old for McCartney. He took to social media to say that he's thrilled with the showing.
"Guess what? Our album is Number 1! Can't get much higher. And we are well chuffed," McCartney said on the post. "My team and the whole gang of people who worked on this thing, they have done a fantastic job, so thank you to all of them. And thank you to all of YOU who bought it! And thank you to me!"

For those into nostalgia, note that "The Boys of Dungeon Lane" also arrived No. 1 on the Official Vinyl Albums chart.
...This album marks McCartney's 24th career No. 1 in the U.K. He's obviously a legendary musician in the U.K. and around the world, and with the Beatles, he also had 15 No. 1s. So, putting together his Beatles discography and solo work, it's fair to say that McCartney is one of the highest-charting musicians of all time.

"The Boys of Dungeon Lane" tells the tale of McCartney's childhood in Liverpool, including his early days with George Harrison and John Lennon. The set, produced by popular producer Andrew Watt, features his first duet with Ringo Starr, "Home to Us."
